Basic Troubleshooting Tips
if the Test LED is ON, this indicates a fault.
The possible causes of a fault condition could be:
Defective cable
Cable not connected to active hub or switch
Defective card
NOTE If the Link LED is ON and the Test LED is OFF and there still is a fault,
at the HP-UX command line, type: dmesg and view the output on your
screen to see if any error messages exist.
