7. Do one of the following:
If the server is in tower mode, place the server on a flat, level surface with the access panel facing up.
If the server is in rack mode, remove the server from the rack .
8. Remove the access panel .
9. Remove the air baffle .
10. Identify the expansion slot compatible with the add-in card .
11. Remove the PCI blank retainer .
12. Remove the blank opposite the selected expansion slot.
Retain the blank for future use.
13. Install the add-in card.
