Remove the air baffle (on page 22).
5. Using a T-15 Torx screwdriver, remove the hard drive cage blank.
CAUTION: To prevent improper cooling and thermal damage, do not operate the server
unless all bays are populated with either a component or a blank.
6. Using four of the surplus T-15 screws located on the non-hot-plug hard drive expansion cage, install
the non-hot-plug hard drives.
7. Connect the power and data cables to the non-hot-plug hard drive.
8. Install the non-hot-plug hard drive expansion cage.
