b. Disconnect each power cord from the server.
3. Do one of the following:
Extend the server from the rack .
Remove the server from the rack .
4. Remove the access panel .
5. Disconnect any cables to the boot device.
6. Remove the boot device.
To remove the hotplug boot device:
a. Remove the drives.
Note where each drive was installed.
b. Remove the riser cage.
c. Remove the boot device.
To remove the internal boot device:
a. Remove the boot device.
