PrerequisitesPrerequisites
Before you begin, be sure that you have the following items:
Appropriate screwdriver for the screws in the rack.
Optional installation tool (695539-001), if the rails were installed using it.
ProcedureProcedure
1. Power down the server.
2. Extend the server from the rack .
3. Disconnect the cabling.
4. Remove the server from the rack .
5. Place the server on a sturdy, level surface.
6. Do one of the following:
(Optional) Remove the rail without a tool.
(Optional) Remove the rail with the tool.
