Loosen and remove the nose piece (1).
In order to clean or replace the threaded mandrel (2) pull back
the silver locking ring (3) and loosen the mandrel by turning.
If the nose piece can not be loosened by hand it can be
loosened by using two SW24 keys.
These components can be cleaned using a wire brush or a
cloth. Any swarf should be removed. Then check the mandrel
and replace if necessary.
Then reassemble the device in reverse order. While doing so
ensure that the threaded mandrel is again locked into place
ush with the locking ring.
We recommend an annual machine capability study for high quality standards and a long
life span. This can be combined with maintenance and inspecon of the overall tool.
