WPA2: WPA2 (IEEE 802.11i) is a wireless security standard that defines stronger
encryption, authentication and key management than WPA. It requires the use of a
RADIUS server and is mostly used in business networks.
WPA: Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) is a subset of the IEEE 802.11i standard. It requires
the use of a RADIUS server and is mostly used in business networks.
WEP: Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP) encryption scrambles the data transmitted
between the wireless stations and the access points to keep network communications
private.
25.6 Phone Calls and VoIP
The telephone port won't work or the telephone lacks a dial tone.
Step 1 Check the telephone connection and telephone wire.

I can access the Internet, but cannot make VoIP calls.
Step 1 The PHONE light should come on. Make sure that your telephone is connected to the PHONE
port.
Step 2 You can also check the VoIP status in the System Info screen.
Step 3 If the VoIP settings are correct, use speed dial to make peer-to-peer calls. If you can make a call
using speed dial, there may be something wrong with the SIP server, contact your VoIP service
provider.

When using UPnP and the LTE Device reboots, my computer cannot detect UPnP and refresh
My Network Places > Local Network.
Step 1 Disconnect the Ethernet cable from the LTE Device's LAN port or from your computer.
Step 2 Re-connect the Ethernet cable.

The Local Area Connection icon for UPnP disappears in the screen. Restart your computer.
I cannot open special applications such as white board, file transfer and video when I use the
MSN messenger.
Step 1 Wait more than three minutes.
Step 2 Restart the applications.
