Caution:
On a mounting screw of the chassis of any Quidway Series Switches, there is a seal which must be kept
intact before the sales agent performs maintenance on the switch. The user must contact the local agent
for permission before opening the chassis. Otherwise, he/she shall bear the responsibility for possible
damages.
3.1 Installation of the S2008-EI
3.1.1 Mounting the S2008-EI on the Metal Wall
With plastic chassis, S2008-EI can be fixed on metal wall using magnet following
these steps:
Step 1: Fix the two pieces of magnets accompanying S2008-EI into the brackets on
the bottom of the chassis.
