Indicator Color Description
Green Steady on: A power module is installed in slot
PWR1 and is working normally.
Red Steady on: The switch has two power modules
installed. Any of the following situations has
occurred on the power module in slot PWR1:
l The power module is detected but its power
switch is in off position.
l The power module is detected but not
connected to a power source.
l The power module has failed.
PWR2: power
supply indicator
- Off: No power module is detected in slot PWR2,
or the power module is not working normally
and the switch has no other power module to
supply power.
Green Steady on: A power module is installed in slot
PWR2 and is working normally.
Red Steady on: The switch has two power modules
installed. Any of the following situations has
occurred on the power module in slot PWR2:
l The power module is detected but its power
switch is in off position.
l The power module is detected but not
connected to a power source.
l The power module has failed.
SYS: system status
indicator
- Off: The system is not running.
Green
l Steady on: The system is not running
normally or is starting.
l Slow blinking: The system is running
normally.
l Fast blinking: The system is copying the
system software and configuration file from
a USB flash drive during a USB-based
upgrade.
Yellow
l Steady on: The system is performing a self-
check during a startup.
l Blinking: The switch has restarted after a
successful upgrade using a USB flash drive.
You can remove the USB flash drive from
the switch.
