5.2 Powering Off Batteries
Procedure
Step 1 Switch off the battery circuit breakers. (Perform this operation for multiple SmartLi cabinets
one by one.)
Step 2 Press and hold the POWER ON/OFF button on the battery management module for more than
5s. (Perform this operation for multiple SmartLi cabinets one by one.)
If batteries are powered off and will not be charged for more than a month, remove the battery
management module.

5.3 Performing EPO

After EPO is triggered, there is no SmartLi output.

After EPO is triggered, the system reports a Battery cabinet shutdown alarm.
Press the external EPO switch that connects to the dry contact card or remove the 4-pin
terminal on the EPO port of the dry contact card of the bypass unit.
5.4 Clearing the EPO State
Procedure
Step 1 Clear the EPO state. Ensure that the EPO button connected to the external EPO is not in the
EPO state.
Step 2 On the LCD screen, choose Alarms > Clear Faults. In the displayed dialog box, tap Yes. The
Battery cabinet shutdown alarm is cleared successfully.
