You are advised to use the PV-CZM-22100 (Staubli) crimping tool and do not
use it with the positioning block. Otherwise, the metal terminals may be
damaged.
The PV-MS (Staubli) or PV-MS-HZ (Staubli) open-end wrench is recommended.
Cables with high rigidity, such as armored cables, are not recommended as DC
input power cables, because poor contact may be caused by the bending of the
cables.
Before assembling DC connectors, label the cable polarities correctly to ensure
correct cable connections.
After the positive and negative connectors snap into place, pull the DC input
cables back to ensure that they are connected securely.
If the SUN2000 is used with an optimizer, the number of optimizers for a single
PV string cannot exceed 25.
If the PV string is
congured with an optimizer, check the cable polarity by
referring to the smart PV optimizer quick guide.
Procedure
Step 1 Connect the DC power cable.

During DC input power cabling, leave at least 50 mm of slack. The axial tension
on PV connectors must not exceed 80 N. Radial stress or torque must not be
generated on PV connectors.
