■ DSC Task mode
The transceiver can hold up to 7 tasks.
You can handle more than 2 DSC tasks
simultaneously by switching between
the tasks.
In the Task mode, you can hold or
activate the DSC task as follows.
Example (When a Group call is
received):
D Holding a DSC task
q Push any [Close] to turn OFF
the alarm.
• When the BAM function (p. 20) is
OFF: Push any [Alarm OFF] .
• The received call’s information is
displayed.
w Push [Hold] .
• The received Group call task is held
into the Task List, and returns to the
operating screen.

NOTE: The Task mode has a Time-out
Timer (TOT) function. After a certain
period of time has passed without any
operation on a task, the transceiver
automatically deletes a task and
returns to the operating screen.
When a Time-out Timer activates,
an alarm sounds and a count down
message is displayed for 10 seconds.
D Activating the held DSC task
q Push [Task List] to display the
Task List.
• The Task List is displayed.
w Select the task that you want to
activate.
e Push [Active]
to activate the
task.

• The activated task information is displayed.
r Push [PTT] to communicate.
t After nishing the communication,
push [Delete]
to delete the task.
