FUNCTIONS FOR RECEIVE
■ Notch function
This transceiver has auto and manual notch func-
tions.
The auto notch function automatically attenuates
beat tones, tuning signals, changing frequency, etc.,
even if they are moving.
The manual notch can be set to attenuate a fre-
quency via the [MNF] control.

to turn the auto notch function ON or
OFF.
• “ ” appears when the auto notch function is ON.
• The auto notch function is available while in SSB or
AM mode.

to turn the manual notch function ON
or OFF.
• “ ” appears when the manual notch function is
ON.
• While in SSB or AM mode, either the auto or manual
notch function can be turned ON. These functions are
selected by pushing
