■Memory clearing
Any unnecessary memory channels can be cleared.
The cleared memory channels become blank chan-
nels.
q Push

w Rotate [M-CH] to select the desired memory
channel to be cleared.
• If the RIT control indicator lights orange, push
M-CH/RIT

e Push and hold

for 1 sec. to clear the con-
tents.
• The programmed frequency and operating mode dis-
appear and “ ” appears.
• 3 beeps are emitted when memory clearing is suc

cessful.
