1� Open the battery case�
2� Push the tab (1), and then remove the battery
holder (2)�
3� Install batteries in the holder

D Using the BP-305 battery case
Install 5 × AA (LR6) size alkaline batteries, as shown below
4� Insert the battery holder to the battery case until
the tab makes a ‘click’ sound�
5� Firmly close the battery case�
L Make sure that the waterproof packing does not stick
out of the case�

WARNING: NEVER use batteries other than
alkaline batteries, such as manganese batteries or
rechargeable batteries� It may cause rupture, ignition,
re, heat generation, liquid leakage, electric shock,
and burns�
CAUTION:
DO NOT incinerate used battery cells since internal
battery gas may cause them to rupture�
DO NOT expose a detached battery case to water� If the
battery case gets wet, be sure to wipe it dry before using it�
DO NOT use batteries whose insulated cover is damaged�
NOTE:
When installing the batteries, make sure they are all the
same brand, type and capacityAlso, do not mix new and
old batteries together
Keep the battery terminals clean� It’s a good idea to
occasionally clean them�
Remove alkaline batteries when the battery case is not
used�
The transceiver turns OFF when the battery case voltage
falls below the operating range of the transceiver
The transmission output power in the IDAS mode will be
reduced to low power when using the battery case and
alkaline batteries�
