4.11.2. Color (Bayer) Patterns Conversions
Color sensors capture images through an optical low pass filter which is coated over the individual pixels in Bayer
mosaic layout. Imaged data is transferred to the PC for color processing of the Bayer Pattern; which saves
bandwidth and achieves higher frame rate and flexibility. Images can be processed in the computer by any of the
following four different conversion algorithms.
