3.5.2 Call waiting
Someone tries to call you whilst you are on the phone. This is indicated by a
knocking tone. A new line is displayed by the blinking in the display.
This function allows you to control the call waiting procedure during existing
telephone calls.
1. Proceed as described in Points 1. to 3. of Chapter 3.5.1.
2. With the Arrow keys, select the menu Call waiting.
3. If you now press the key, you can switch between "on" and "off".
4. To save the selection, leave the menu by pressing the key twice.
To answer the caller without terminating the current call, press the Refer-back
key . To terminate the current call before answering the call, press the Clearing
key .
3.5.3 Calling line identification presentation
This function offers the possibility to switch on/off the transmission of the own
phone number for outgoing calls.
1. Proceed as described in Points 1. to 3. of Chapter 3.5.1.
2. With the Arrow keys, select the menu Calling line identification
presentation.
3. If you now press the key, you can switch between "on" and "off".
4. To save the selection, leave the menu by pressing the key twice.
This setting applies to all subsequent calls, provided no settings are made for
individual calls.
