Chapter 5 Troubleshooting
5.1 Faults and Solutions
IS300 has alarm information and protective function. When a fault occurs, the protective
function will act and the servo drive will stop output. Then the fault relay contact of the drive
will act and the error code will be displayed on the operation panel.
Before consulting the service department, the user should read the instructions in this
chapter to find the cause of the fault and its corresponding solution. If you still cannot solve
the problem, please feel free to contact the agent or our company.

Check whether the servo drive output
circuit is earthed or short circuited .
Check whether performing motor tuning properly .
Check whether acceleration time is too short .
Check whether the manual torque
or V/F curve boost is proper.
Check whether the servo drive ’s
input voltage is too low .
Check whether the rotating motor is restarted .
Check whether load is added suddenly
during acceleration .

Increase the capacity level of the servo drive .
Eliminate external faults .
Perform motor tuning .
Increase acceleration time .
Adjust the manual torque or V /F
curve boost to proper value .
Adjust the input voltage to

Take away the added load.
