5.3.3 Connecting 2-wire temperature sensors
NOTICE
Incomplete wiring of the temperature sensors
Incomplete wiring of the 2-wire temperature sensors may lead to false measurement results.
u Always connect the 2-wire temperature sensors together with the four supplied wire
bridges.
u Disconnect the CALEC® STIII from the power
supply.
u Take off the front cover [}p.20].
u Connect the temperature sensor:
l T
hot
terminals 1/2
l T
cold
terminals 3/4
u Connect the four wire bridges:
l Between terminals 5/1
l Between terminals 2/6
l Between terminals 7/3
l Between terminals 4/8
u Close the front cover [}p.20].
5.3.4 Connecting 4-wire temperature sensors
u Disconnect the CALEC® ST III from the power
supply.
u Take off the front cover [}p.20].
u Connect the temperature sensor:
l T
hot
terminals 1/5 and 2/6
l T
cold
terminals 3/7 and 4/8
u Close the front cover [}p.20].
