5.3.4. The I2C Tab
The I2C tab allows you to read and write 1 kilobit (Kb) to an I2C EEPROM located at
U28 on the development board

The following sections describe the controls on the I2C tab.
EEPROM
The serial I
2
C EEPROM is 32 Kilobits.
Start Address: 0x0
Range: 0x1000
Read: Reads data from the I2C EEPROM.
For more information on the EEPROM, refer to the Cyclone V SoC Development Board
Reference Manual.
RTC
Real time clock.
Current Time: Displays current time stored in RTC memory when you click Read.
It is not updated automatically.
System Time: Displays current time from PC and is updated automatically.
Read: Reads the time from the RTC device on the board.
Write System Time to RTC: Writes the time to the RTC device on the board.
