4.7.4 Procedure
1. Confirm low impedances (below 5 kOhm).
2. Choose the intensity and select the ear to test on the record sheet. Instruct the patient to look up and
hold their gaze without moving their head.
3. Start the test.
4.7.5 Edit oVEMP results
Use the Edit sheet to mark the peaks. To select the VEMP partner, double click the waveform handle, then
right click the waveform handle of the opposite ear and select Set VEMP Partner. These will be used in the
calculation of the Asymmetry Ratio calculation.
