14 SG20T Tethered Scanner User’s Guide
Scanning Bar Codes: The aiming and scanner beams that you see depend
on which SG20T model you are using.
To scan omni-directionally with the 2D high performance area imager
1 Point the scanner window at the bar code label and hold the
SG20T steady a few inches from the label.
2 Pull the trigger and use the laser framing to position the imager
over the bar code or area to capture.

When bar code labels are printed close to each other, try to frame only
the bar code you want to read, to avoid reading the wrong bar code.
