4.8.2 MEMU (Memory Expansion Module Unit)
The MEMU is equipped with Nand Flash memory used to expand the storage capacity of
the eMG80 Voice Mail by 15 hours. As with the basic and VVMU storage, the MEMU
storage is non-volatile and any messages are stored even if power to the eMG80 is lost.
The MEMU is installed on the CN15 connector of the KSU MBU.
Description
As shown in Figure 4.8.2-1 below, the MEMU has a single connector for mounting on
CN15 of the KSU MBU. The MEMU has no other connectors, LEDs or switches.

4.8.3 MEMU2 (Memory Expansion Module Unit)
The MEMU2 is equipped with Nand Flash memory used to expand the storage capacity of
the eMG80 Voice Mail by 60 hours. As with the basic and VVMU storage, the MEMU2
storage is non-volatile and any messages are stored even if power to the eMG80 is lost.
Description
As shown in Figure 4.8.3-1 below, the MEMU2 has a single connector for mounting on
CN15 of the eMG80 KSU MBU. The MEMU2 has no other connectors, LEDs or switches.
