3) Connect a tube (16 in. O.D. x 0.5 mm I.D.) to the outlet port of the flow cell.
The total length of the tube should be less than 1m.
<CAUTION>
The maximum allowable pressure of the flow cell is 15 bar (1.5MPa). Do not
use a narrow bore tube, e.g. 0.25 mm or less, to avoid excessive pressure
that may cause leakage of the flow cell.
4) Start the HPLC pump to flow mobile phase solvent and wait for the
baseline to be stabilized.
<CAUTION>
The flow cell has been purged with isopropanol before shipping from factory.
If a buffer solution containing salt is to be used, be sure to flush the flow cell
with water before flowing the solution.
