7.4 Spectra Output
This section outlines the procedure for outputting spectra (obtained in Sections 7.2 and
7.3) to the recorder and integrator output terminals. The recorder output level can be set
as a spectrum output parameter and will include wavelength markers at 100 nm intervals.
However, the integrator output does not include the wavelength marker. Note that the
integrator level cannot be set as a spectrum output parameter, a separate procedure is
required (refer to Section 5.7). A spectrum is output at 4 nm/sec. If the recorder chart
speed is set to 100mm/min, the whole spectrum (220 –420 nm) will appear with 83mm
length. These items are summarized in Table 7.2.

1) Push [SHIFT] [SCAN] to display the SPECTRUM OUTPUT screen. (refer to Fig. 7.4).
2) Push [▲] , then “MEMORY NO. n “ blinking. Select the memory location (#0-9) where
the spectrum to be output is stored. In this example #5 will be set. Press
[EDIT/ENTER] to set the memory location number.
3) Push [PRGM RUN]. A spectrum is output to the recorder or integrator. When data
output is over, SPECTRUM OUTPUT screen reappears automaticaly.
