5. Operation and maintenance devices
5.7.1.3 Machines with HCflex
5.7.1.3.1 Starting the machine:
Machines in which a motor monitoring in the form of an HCflex is installed, the entire
motor monitoring and control runs through the panel of the HCflex. The HCflex is
started by turning the ignition key and also switched off again. The basic functions are
described below.
When restarting the HCflex, it should be noted that there should be
at least 15 seconds between switching the ignition on and off to
ensure that the HCflex has been completely disconnected from the
current in the meantime.
5.7.1.3.2 Allow regeneration?
When starting the Hcflex, it must be confirmed
whether regeneration is permitted during
operation. The respective setting can be made
using the [1] and [3] keys. The setting can be set
as in section 5.7.1.3.4 can be changed during
operation. If rejected with "No", the regeneration
is suppressed until the next ignition change or
manual activation. After the selection has been
confirmed, the various menu windows are
changed using the arrow keys [↓] [↑].
Regeneration should always be allowed, if possible, in order to
prevent maximum clogging of the filter system for exhaust gas
aftertreatment and the associated engine malfunction.
