5.7.1.3.4 Configure exhaust gas aftertreatment:
The exhaust gas aftertreatment of modern diesel engines makes it necessary to
integrate regeneration phases into operation. The regeneration phases are required
at regular intervals so that the accumulated particles can be burned off in the filter and
a smooth operation of the engine can be ensured.
Please note that exhaust gas temperatures of up to 600°C are
reached during regeneration. Only regenerate if the working
environment is suitable for appropriate exhaust gas temperatures.
