4 . 7 Dif ferential Aileron Mixin

The XP8 10 3 transmitter of fers aileron differential. Dif ferential
ailerons are used to tailor the flight control system to a par ticular
aircraft. Because the downward travel of the aileron creates
more drag than the upward travel, it is necessary to reduce the
amount of down travel for each aileron. This drag may ver
y well
produce an adverse yawing tendency in your aircraft. As
adverse yaw is undesirable in most, if not all, R/C aircraft, it is
best to correct for this common flight tendency . Aileron
dif ferential overcomes this yaw as it reduces the downward
travel of the ailerons.
In Function Mode, use the UP and DN keys to select Dif ferential
A
ileron Mixing and access by pressing the UP and DN keys
simultaneously .
Note: Dif ferential may also be obtained by using the travel
adjust.
