Viewing the Viewfinder/LCD Monitor
You can
monitor video images on this camera recorder using the viewfinder
or LCD monitor.

Viewing with the viewfinder

Adjust the viewfinder to an easy-to-see position.

Turn the eyepiece focus lever to adjust the focus.

Open the LCD monitor.

Adjust the LCD monitor to an easy-to-see position.

While the LCD monitor is opened, there will be no image display on the
viewfinder.

Adjusting the brightness of LCD monitor
Set the
brightness using “MONITOR BRIGHTNESS” in the “SETUP” menu.

Adjusting the Grip Belt

A Open the pad.
B Adjust the length of the belt
C Close the pad.
Caution :

Be sure to fasten the grip belt properly.
If the belt is loose, this unit may drop and result in injuries or damages.
Removing the Hood
Remove the hood when attaching a filter, teleconverter or wide converter to
the front of the lens.

Press and hold the release button on the back of the hood, turn the hood
in the anti-clockwise direction to remove it.

To attach a hood, press it against the lens, and turn it in the clockwise
direction.
Opening the Lens Cover
Use the lens cover switch to open or close the lens cover.
Before shooting, open the lens cover.

the lens.

Do not
press against the lens cover with force. Doing so may damage the
lens or the cover.
