You can change the picture quality or video settings
for a disc in advance when playback is stopped or
before the disc is inserted.
1 Press [SET UP].
2 Use [J / K / H / I] and [ENTER] to
control the preference screen.
Proceed according to the procedure described
on the TV screen.

HDMI VIDEO MODE:
Set to “ON” to assign priority to the HDMI video
resolution settings.
HDMI OUTPUT:
You can select the type of video signal from the
HDMI output terminal.
24p OUTPUT:
Set to “AUTO” to enable output of video recorded
on BD-ROM in 1080/24p when the monitor
connected to HDMI supports 24p.
Set to “OFF” if the output is not played back
normally.
x.v.Color:
You can specify the “x.v.Color output.
Set to “OFF” when the video distorts.
Deep Color:
When a monitor that supports Deep Color is
connected, setting to “AUTO” enab
les output of
Deep Color signals at 12 bit, and setting to “OFF”
enables output at 8 bit.
Set to “OFF” when the video appears distorted.
When the video is not displayed if “AUTO” is
selected, follow the instructions for “Selecting the
video signal type” on page 7 and switch the output
resolution.
HDMI ENHANCE SETTING:
Effective when connected to a device that only
supports RGB output. HDMI ENHANCE only
function
s for RGB output.
(only during DVI connection)
HDMI AUDIO OUTPUT:
You can select whether or not the audio signal
from the [HDMI] terminal is output.
AUTO:
You can specify available “System Audio Control”
in HDMI CEC.
ON:
Enable the audio output using [HDMI] terminal.

Disable the audio output using [HDMI] terminal.
CONTROL WITH HDMI:
You can select the usage for the HDMI CEC
functions. (Refer to “Basic operations of HDMI
CEC” on p
age 61)
:
For using the HDMI CEC functions normally.
ON2:
When the power of the main unit is ON, do not turn
it OFF even if you turn OFF the power of the TV.
When the power of the main unit is OFF, do not
turn it ON by operating the TV.
Other settings are the same as for “ON1”.
OFF:
For deactivating the HDMI CEC functions.
