BD-ROM / DVD VIDEO players and BD-ROM / DVD
VIDEO discs have their own Region Code numbers.
This system can play back a BD-ROM / DVD VIDEO
whose Region Code number includes the system’s
Region Code, which is indicated on the rear panel.
Examples:

DVD VIDEO
If a BD-ROM / DVD VIDEO with improper region
code numbers is loaded, “Region code error”
appears on the TV screen and playback cannot start.
•On some BD-ROM
s, DVD VIDEOs or DivX files,
their actual operation may be different from what is
explained in this manual. This is due to the disc/file
programming and disc/file structure, not a
malfunction of this system.
•This system is designed for use with the PAL
standard but you can also play back discs recorded
in NTSC format.
