11.6 Retrofitting modules
Modules for MULTICAL
803 are also supplied separately for retrofitting. See paragraph 3.2 for guidelines for the
combination of modules.
The modules are factory-configured and ready for installation. However, some modules require individual final
configuration that can be performed by means of METERTOOL HCW. See the technical description of METERTOOL
HCW (5512-2097) for further information.
Note:
Before modules are replaced or installed, the supply to the calculator must be disconnected. The same applies
to the mounting of an antenna.
Possible configuration after installation
Data
+ 2 pulse inputs (In-A, In-B)
Meter factor and preset of In-A and In-B can be changed
via METERTOOL HCW.
Data
+ 2 pulse outputs (Out-C, Out-D)
Pulse duration of Out-C and Out-D can be changed via
METERTOOL HCW.
M-Bus
+ 2 pulse inputs (In-A, In-B)
Meter factor and preset of In-A and In-B can be changed
via METERTOOL HCW.
Primary and secondary M-Bus addresses can be changed
via METERTOOL HCW or M-Bus. The register content of
the M-Bus data package can be changed via METERTOOL
HCW and READy.
M-Bus
+ 2 pulse outputs (Out-C, Out-D)
Pulse duration of Out-C and Out-D can be changed via
METERTOOL HCW.
Primary and secondary M-Bus addresses can be changed
via METERTOOL HCW or M-Bus. The register content of
the M-Bus data package can be changed via METERTOOL
HCW and READy.
M-Bus
+ Thermal Disconnect
Primary and secondary M-Bus addresses can be changed
via METERTOOL HCW or M-Bus. The register content of
the M-Bus data package can be changed via METERTOOL
HCW and READy.
Wireless M-Bus
+ 2 pulse inputs (In-A, In-B)
Meter factor and preset of In-A and In-B can be changed
via METERTOOL HCW. The register content of the M-Bus
data package can be changed via METERTOOL HCW and
READy.
Wireless M-Bus
+ 2 pulse outputs (Out-C, Out-D)
Meter factor and preset of Out-C and Out-D can be
changed via METERTOOL HCW. The register content of
the M-Bus data package can be changed via METERTOOL
HCW and READy.
Analog output module, with 2 x 0/4…20 mA
Output as 0…20 mA or 4…20 mA. Output from one of the
following registers: Flow V1, power, inlet temperature t1,
outlet temperature t2, differential temperature t1-t2.
The above values can be changed via METERTOOL HCW
and are individual for each of the two outputs.
