6.4 Connection of peripheral equipment
The balance must be disconnected from the mains before connecting or
disconnecting additional equipment (printer, PC) to or from the data interface. Only
use KERN accessories and peripheral equipment with your balance. These have
been ideally coordinated to your balance.
6.5 Initial Commissioning
The accuracy of the balance depends on the local acceleration of the fall.
Instructions in chapter "Adjustment" must be observed.
Before connecting the balance with the mains plug, make sure that the main switch is
in “off“ position.
When you have connected the balance with the mains plug bring the mains switch
(above mains plug) into “on“ position The balance is now turned on. The balance will
go through a test mode. After a few seconds “0.000“ is displayed.
