4.5.1 MEMORISING A REMOTE CONTROL
If you are in programming mode exit pressing the (MENU) button until
ready
appears. Press the
(DOWN-RADIO) button for more than 2 seconds. Until the display shows the word
radio menu
(radio), then
release the button
1. Press and release the (DOWN-RADIO) button a number of times equal to the number of the function to
be selected: once for function STEP BY STEP (
LEARN SBS
), twice for function PARTIAL (
LEARN PAR
), three
times for function ONLY OPEN (
LEARN OPEN
), four times for function LIGHT ON/OFF (
LEARN LIGHT
), ve
times for output
LEARN ALL
(button 1= SBS, button 2= PARTIAL, button 3= ONLY OPEN, button 4= LIGHT
ON/OFF)

2. The KEY LED will ash a number of times equal to the number of the function selected, with 1 second pauses
between ashes

3. Within 7 seconds press the button of the remote control to be memorized

4. If the memorization has been successful, the KEY LED will give one long ash

5. To memorize another remote control on the same function, repeat point 3
N.B If no commands are given for 7 seconds, the receiver automatically quits the programming mode
4.5 - Learning a transmitter
A transmitter can be memorized via the specic programming menu or by remote memorisation, using a previously memorised transmitter.

AUTOLEARNING OF THE TRAVEL STROKE WITH CUSTOMISED DECELERATIONS
Deceleration intervals can be customized by the user, according to the procedure below
CAUTION! check that mechanical end stops (compulsory) are present and secure. The motors must always
reach the mechanical end stop
1. Move the gate manually to mid-travel
2. CAUTION: enter the BASIC MENU to set the parameter
lengh slow
= P as in the table in paragraph 4.7
3. Press the buttons
(UP) and (MENU)at the same time for at least 5 seconds until
open1 learn
is
displayed, then (if necessary) press
(DOWN-RADIO) (see gure).
If the rst manoeuvre is NOT opening, press
(DOWN-RADIO) to stop the self-learning process.
Then press
(SBS) to restart acquisition: the leaf resumes movement in the correct direction
4. The motor opens at low speed until it reaches the mechanical opening end stop. After a couple of seconds it
will restart in closure (the display shows
clos2 learn
)
5. On reaching the point where motor is in closing deceleration is required, press
(SBS). The motor
movement continues at low speed (the display shows

6. On reaching the mechanical end stop of motor it starts to opening

8. When the motor reaches the open position, it will stops for a couple of seconds and then it restarts closing at
normal speed. When the gate is closed the learning procedure it is nish

The rst time the control unit is powered up, or if a default with dif-
ferent motor type is performing, the display shown “
LEARN to do
".
An autoleaning procedure must be carried out to acquire fundamen-
tal parameters such as the travel stroke length and deceleration
points.
AUTOLEARNING OF THE TRAVEL STROKE AND MAIN PARAMETERS
The decelerations will be those set in the menu, with the same percentage during both opening and closing.
1. Release the gate or door, move it onto the central position and lock it in place again.
2. Hold down the
(UP) and (MENU) buttons SIMULTANEOUSLY for more than 3 seconds, until the scre
en shows
OPEN1 LEARN
and get ready to press the
(DOWN-RADIO) key (see illustration) if necessary.
3. If the rst operation is NOT opening of the gate, press the
(DOWN-RADIO) key to stop the autolearning.
Then press
(SBS) to restart the acquisition: the gate starts moving again, in the right direction. The motor
opens the gate at low speed to the opening limit switch. On reaching the opening limit switch, the gate restarts in
the closing direction at low speed until it reaches the closing limit switch, displaying
OPEN1 learn
.
4. Perform a number of opening, closing and sudden stop commands to ensure that the system is solid with
no assembly defects.
All the main parameters are set with the default settings by the control unit. To customise the installation, proceed as described in point 4.5
below.
