Excessive Dynamic Protection
The following graph shows the square wave amplitude thresholds versus frequency with no load. In
the area above the indicated amplitude threshold, sustained generation of a square wave may engage
the excessive dynamic protection (EDP) function, which disables the output. EDP protection may be
engaged by programmed voltage changes, lists, Arbs, or load-induced voltage swings.
