Assemble units as described herein only. To do otherwise
may result in instability. All screws, nuts and bolts must be
tightened securely and must be checked periodically after
assembly. Failure to assemble properly, or to secure parts
may result in assembly failure and personal injury.

7. Position the previously removed
lectern upright next to the storage
cabinet cutout as illustrated. Insert
the upright into the cutout and
carefully slide in until the upright
reaches the bottom of the base
assembly. Guide the cylinder
threaded stem into the hole at
the bottom of the base assembly.
Re-install the upright to the base
assembly by securing the
M8 x 1.25 locking nut onto the
cylinder threaded stem (Figure 4 &
Detail D).
8. Carefully turn the X-base assembly
to the upright position on the floor.
9. At the top of the lectern upright and
inside the mounting head, remove
the rubber band from around the
cable holder bracket, preventing the
barrel cable actuator from pressing
down onto the cylinder release
button (Detail E).
10. Proceed to “Perforated Steel Panel
Installation” instructions on
page 11.
