TC Selection & Label
If you choose to assign separate specs for each TC, click the Edit Specs button and the screen will now
appear with an additional section for TC Selection & Label.
There will be 3 columns:
• For Defining Specs – This is where you will select which TC you are creating the spec for. The
bottom left of the screen will also indicate which TC specifications are currently displayed.
• For Profiling – When a particular TC is selected from the For Defining Specs column, it will
automatically put a check mark in the For Profiling box for that TC. This is indicating that that
particular TC will be used during a profile. Make sure to verify that only the TCs that are being used
have a check mark in this column.
Note: When separate specs are being used, this is the only place where you can select or deselect
which TCs will be used for a profile.
• TC Label – This area will allow you to type in a description or label to identify that particular TC. If
left blank, the TCs will simply be identified as TC2, TC3, etc.
Maximum Slope between Temperatures
This feature will allow you to determine the maximum slope between 2 specific temperatures in up to 3
different areas across the profile. These specifications are in addition to the standard Max Slope over the
Profile. This will allow you to determine the max slope, for example, in the initial preheat area, the soak
zone, or from soak up to peak. As with Max Slope over the Profile, you will need to also enter the amount
of time in seconds in which slope will be calculated over.
Once you have completed all edits of the specs you can click on the Green Check button and your changes
will be applied. Clicking on the Red X (Cancel) button will cancel your changes and exit.
