Setting the KICstart Maximum Temperature
The Maximum Temperature setting for the KICstart refers to the highest temperature that the KICstart is
set to read. When you received your KICstart, it was preset for 932°F (500°C) as it's Maximum
Temperature. It can be changed. The highest temperature that the KICstart is capable of reading is
1050°C.
TIP: If you exceed this temperature while running a profile, your TC inputs will read OVR (over-
range). If this happens to you, the first thing to suspect is that the Maximum Temperature setting
for your KICstart is not set high enough for the temperature application you're attempting to
measure.
See instructions above for enabling the KIC Host screen.
