The environmental requirements for operating the system are as follows:

System configuration
This scanner is configured with a printer (video) and PC (SCSI) interface.
Printer Mode (2400DSV-E Scanner plus a Video Laser Printer)
The scanner is connected to a dedicated printer, allowing scanned
images to be printed out directly.
NOTE: Each 2400DSV-E Scanner is designed exclusively for use with its
respective printer. Contact your Kodak Representative if you are
in doubt on how to connect the laser printer.
PC Interface mode (2400DSV-E Scanner plus a PC)
The scanner is connected to a personal computer and the scanned
images can be uploaded to the computer. The PC interface cable is for
connection to a personal computer through PowerFilm Application
software.
Connection to a personal computer and printer can be switched using the
Control Panel. Refer to "Selecting the Connection mode" in Chapter 2.
