Cleaning the printer
Before cleaning, turn the power off and unplug the cord from the power
outlet.
• Clean the printer at regular intervals. The printer should be cleaned with
a soft cloth. Never use abrasives or corrosive detergents.
• Clean the exterior panels with a soft, dry cloth. A damp cloth and a mild
home detergent can be used for heavier cleaning.
Replenishing the paper
supply
Use only the following types of paper:
Type: Plain and recycled paper weight (60 to 90 g/m
2
or 16 to 24-lb.)
Size: Standard sizes: 11 x 17-inch, 8.5 x 11-inch or 8.5 x 14-inch
(A3, B4, A4)
Capacity: Paper Feeding Tray:
8.5 x 11-inch or A4 plain and recycled paper
Up to 150 sheets
Paper Cassette:
11 x 17-inch, 8.5 x 11-inch or 8.5 x 14-inch (A3, B4, A4) plain
and recycled paper
Up to 250 sheets
