MODE Do:
“Video”

This procedure also
does a test of the
MICROPHONE.
1. Press:
• MODE BUTTON
• 4-WAY BUTTON to the “Video” icon
•“OK” BUTTON
2. Press and release the SHUTTER BUTTON.
3. During the video recording, check:
• “Rec” on the LCD flashes
• recording time displays on the LCD
4. Speak some words to make an audio file.
5. Press and release the SHUTTER BUTTON.
6. Check that the LCD displays “Play Video”.
7. Press the “OK” BUTTON.
8. Check that the video file plays back.
9. Press the “OK” BUTTON.
10. Check that the video stops.
11. Press the “OK” BUTTON again to continue the play back.
12. When the play back is complete, check that the LCD returns to “Liveview” mode.

Communication and Audio Functions” on Page 30.
“SCN” 1. Press:
• MODE BUTTON
• 4-WAY BUTTON to the “SCN” icon
•“OK” BUTTON
2. Press the 4-WAY BUTTON left and right.
3. Check:
• selected icon changes to red
• icon also displays in the top right corner of the LCD
“Blur Reduction” 1. Press:
• 4-WAY BUTTON to “Blur Reduction”
•“OK” BUTTON
2. Capture an image at the same time of shaking the CAMERA.
3. Check that the image displayed on the LCD has focus.
