8 Tips and Troubleshooting
If you are having trouble, check the following tables for solutions. Additional
technical information is available in the ReadMe file located in the KODAK
Digital Camera folder. For the latest updates to this information, visit our Web

Picture Card
Problem Cause Solution
The mc3
device does
not recognize
a Picture
Card.
The card may not be
CompactFlash certified.
Purchase a certified CompactFlash
Card.
The card may be corrupt
or formatted for use in
other digital devices.
Format the card. See “Formatting a
Picture Card” on page 12.
A card is not properly
inserted in the mc3
device.
Insert a Picture Card, ensuring it is
firmly seated in the mc3 device. See
“Inserting a Picture Card” on page 3.
Cannot erase
an MP3 file
from a
Picture Card.
The file may be
read-only.
m Use a card reader to delete the
file or to change its attributes to
read-write. (You can also
accomplish this by connecting
the mc3 device the computer
and using the computer’s file
system.)
m Format the card.
