11. EXPLANATION OF COMPONENTS
B. CAUTION ITEMS (11.1.2)

CAUTION
If these monitor items flash, check and repair the appropriate
location as soon as possible.
These are items which need to be observed while the engine is
running. If any abnormality occurs, items which need to be repaired
as soon as possible are displayed.
If there is any abnormality, the appropriate monitor lamp will flash
to indicate the location of the abnormality.
C. EMERGENCY STOP ITEMS (11.1.3)
then check and repair the appropriate location.
These are items which need to be observed while the engine is
running. If any abnormality occurs, items which need to be repaired
immediately are displayed.
D. METER DISPLAY PORTION (11.1.4)
This portion consists of pre-heating monitor, swing lock monitor,
engine water temperature gauge, fuel gauge and display.
E. SWITCHES (11 .I .5)
This consists of lamp switch, cab heater switch, mode selector
switch, wiper switch, alarm buzzer stop switch and travel speed
switch.
Functional check of the machine monitor system
When the starting switch is turned ON before starting the engine,
all the monitor lamps and the gauges light up and the alarm buzzer
sounds for about 3 seconds. If any monitor lamp does not light up,
there is probably a broken bulb or disconnectioin in the monitor, so
ask your Komatsu distributor to inspect it.
REMARK
The monitor system cannot be checked for breakage until 30
seconds after the engine has been stopped.
