1. Set fuel control dial (iJ at the low idling (MINI position.
2. Hold the key in starting switch @ at the HEAT position, and check
that preheating monitor @ lights up.
After about 30 seconds, preheating monitor lamp @will flash for
about 10 seconds to indicate that preheating is finished.

REMARK
The monitor and gauge also light up when the key is at the HEAT
position, but this does not indicate any abnormality.
