Sending Relay Broadcasts
You can use a remote machine to send broadcast faxes if both your machine
and the remote machine are Konica Fax 9825s or support the ITU standard for
relay broadcasts. This allows you to reduce long-distance costs when sending
broadcast faxes.
To set up a relay broadcast, you create a speed dial group on the remote fax
machine and enable relay broadcasts. On your local machine, you set up a
speed dial number that uses the Subaddress and Password special features.

Create a speed dial group that dials all the numbers to which you want to
send the broadcast from this fax machine. (See the "
Setting up a Group
"
section on page 95.) Remember the speed dial number, as you will need
to use it on the local machine.
