This chapter explains how to receive faxes automatically or manually and how
to customize various options such as receiving confidential documents,
receiving documents into memory, and receiving reduced documents.

Fax Calls
You can receive fax calls automatically, manually, or manually with voice. You
may have distinctive ring service and you may also have an answering
machine or telephones on the same line. You will need to set the machine
menus to match your situation.
Receiving Faxes Automatically
FastAccess: M2322
(Default = Yes, Ring = 1)
In automatic receive mode, the machine automatically receives the fax. You
can specify the number of rings before the call is answered.
Use automatic answer mode if you use a dedicated phone line for the machine.
If you use the phone line for both fax and voice communications, you can use
automatic answer mode for times when you do not answer voice calls.
