NOTE
Paraffin oil is bright and transparent in appearance. A slight discolouration, caused
by the running-in process of new mechanical seals or small amounts of leakage
from the fluid handled, has no detrimental effect. However, if the lubricant is
severely contaminated by the fluid handled, this suggests a defect at the
mechanical seals.
Filling in the lubricant

1. Position the pump set as shown.
2. Fill lubricant through the lubricant filler opening until the lubricant in the
lubricant reservoir reaches the required levelM (see the following table).
3. Screw in screw plug 903 with new joint ring 411. Tighten to a torque of 23Nm.
