Grease quality
The rolling element bearings are packed with lithium-soap grease at the factory.
For re-lubrication use grease of the following properties:
▪ Lithium soap
▪ Free of resin and acid
▪ Not liable to crumble
▪ The grease should have a penetration number between two and three,
corresponding to a worked penetration between 220 and 295mm/10.
▪ Its drop point must be above 175°C.
Grease quantity
For the first re-lubrication, a larger grease quantity is required as the cavities need to
be filled too.
Refer to the table below for the grease quantities.

7.2.3.2 Checking the leakage chamber
