9.20Adjusting the handlebar anglex

Loosen screw.
Move the handlebar to the desired position and slightly tichten the screws.
Move the handlebar carefully in both directions as far as it will go.
» If the handlebar instruments touch the fuel tank:
Correct the handlebar angle.
Info
The distance between the handlebar support and the handlebar clamp
must be the same at the front and rear.
Fully tighten screw.

9.21Checking chain dirt
Check the chain for coarse dirt accumulation.
» If the chain is very dirty:
Clean the chain. ( S. 77)
9.22Cleaning the chain
Warning
Danger of accidentsOil or grease on the tires reduces their grip.
Remove oil and grease with a suitable cleaning material.
