9.20Adjusting the handlebar anglex

– Loosen screw.
– Move the handlebar to the desired position and slightly tichten the screws.
– Move the handlebar carefully in both directions as far as it will go.
» If the handlebar instruments touch the fuel tank:
– Correct the handlebar angle.

The distance between the handlebar support and the handlebar clamp
must be the same at the front and rear.
– Fully tighten screw.

9.21Checking chain dirt
– Check the chain for coarse dirt accumulation.
» If the chain is very dirty:
– Clean the chain. ( S. 77)
9.22Cleaning the chain
Warning
Danger of accidents Oil or grease on the tires reduces their grip.
– Remove oil and grease with a suitable cleaning material.
