Setting the Furuno Output
This option selects two available options for the Furuno
output: magnetic or true heading reference and 25 millisecond
or 200 millisecond data output rate.

MAG ENTER True
Set data rate: 200 mS
25mS ENTER 200mS
Data rate setting will blink "25ms"
or "200ms" based on current
selection. Pushing the 25ms or
200ms buttons will toggle
between selections.
Setting will blink "Mag" or
"True" based on the
current selection. Pushing
the MAG or TRUE buttons
will toggle between
selections.

If the system is NOT connected to
a GPS or a ship’s gyro, only
magnetic heading data will be
available and the following variation
on the magnetic/true selection
screen will be displayed:

“Set Data Rate” screen.
